Once again, Mountain View Prevention Services hosted the
Taste of Home Cooking School! The show was held on Saturday, October
19 and was located in the auditorium of Lowville Academy and
Central School. This is an all-day event with the doors opening at
11:00am. Tickets holders will have the chance to visit outstanding
vendors, reserve their seat in the auditorium, get something to eat
and go through the gift bag that each ticket holder receives. The
bags contain lots of recipes, including all that will be prepared in
the show, products and items that both the national sponsors and
local businesses have contributed, coupons for discounts from local
vendors and worthwhile information about our beautiful Lewis County
On Wednesday, April 27th, 2011, Mountain View Prevention Services
held their Annual Dinner. Several members from the Board of Directors and
Staff attended the event along with guest speaker and area physician, Dr.
Dan Pisaniello and Tyler Stevenson, a Reality Check Youth and one of two
recipients of MVPS' "Friends of Prevention Award."
